EXHAUST PORT COATINGS

The exhaust port coating produces two benefits one being an increase in flow. Testing by HRE (Hughes Racing) revealed an increase in flow of 15CFM (5-6% increase) on 18 degree Bow Tie heads. The second benefit is the coating is a thermal barrier this reduces exhaust heat from being absorbed in the engine.
